Since I was a young girl, I have enjoyed the "old-fashioned" skills that involve working with my hands to create beautiful (or healthy) products. Yarn, paper, cameras, seeds and dirt are all part of who I am as a person. I was also taught that people appreciate hand written notes AND I have been a busy wife, mom and lawyer for a very long time so I took my scrapbooking hobby and downsized it -- into making cards!! When I first started making cards, they weren't very good (lots of stickers and poor quality materials, blurry stamped lines, etc.). Then I doscovered Stampin' Up and it revolutionized my own creativity. The quality products, the ability to share ideas, the color coordination... all have blended to make my cards more professional, but still made from the heart. I became a demonstrator in 2013 and now lead a team of wonderful crafters who share smiles and a love of papercrafting. Stampin' Up provides quality materials and great customer service and it is great to have the opportunity to share what I love to do.
I am a happily married mother of five kids -- 36, 33, 30, 19 and 14. Three of the five kids have married and I also have two wonderful grandsons. And there are dogs; lots of dogs! In addition to being a Stampin' Up demonstrator, my primary job is as a criminal defense and appellate lawyer in Bucks and Montgomery County, PA (suburban Philly). My life is delightfully busy between my work as a lawyer and a demonstrator, being active in my parish as a lector and a religious prep teacher, being a USA Swimming official and volunteering at my youngest daughter's school (as I tyoe this, she is moving into high school so that will be a whole new world). Please feel free to reach out to me with your papercrafting questions and to schedule a crafting gathering. There are always special ways to learn a new hobby or to expand your skills and I would be pleased to help you explore those new avenues of creativity.
